Russ has over 40 years of experience in risk management and pool administration services, having served in various senior leadership roles such as CFO, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Underwriting Officer. He has created risk management service strategies for group health, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and property liability programs.

 

Russ has also provided management consulting to groups and clients across the Nation and participated in designing, implementing, and managing over twenty group self-funded risk management programs.

 

Most recently, Russ was a Managing Partner and Senior Vice President for one of the top 20 commercial insurance brokerage firms in the U.S. 

 

Russ strives to provide thoughtful, independent management advice using common sense and good judgment.

Personal

 

Russ and his wife of forty-two years, Barb, share a deep love for travel and adventure.

​

They delight in time spent with their nine grandchildren—Daniel, Henry, Rose, George, Tommy, Vivi, Joe, Maura, and Evan—and can often be found cheering them on at games, performances, and special events. When they’re not with family, Russ and Barb are usually on the move, whether walking hundreds of miles on pilgrimages like the Camino de Santiago or the Via Francesco, or standing in quiet awe before Caravaggio’s Madonna di Loreto at Rome’s Church of Sant’Agostino.

They savor bluebird mornings on the ski slopes, a day on the golf course, and crisp fall bike rides along the Yampa River. You’re just as likely to spot Russ at the pickleball court as you are to find him casting a fly in hopes of landing a beautiful trout.

 

Above all, Russ and Barb are grateful for the opportunity to serve and support a variety of organizations in their community.
